Has anyone heard of Ponce Bank - it is giving 2.5% yield for money market account. And UFB direct is giving 2.21% on money market account. And Marcus by Goldman Sachs is giving 1.7% on savings account. Which one should I go for? I have about $200K to keep for sometime until I decide what to do with it

Ponzi bank. The name itself tells it all? Just kidding.

T bills are paying more than 2.5% and if you hold to maturity they are essentially risk free. At Schwab or Fidelity you can buy tbillls at auction and they automatically roll them to new issues at maturity. Easy to do.

Would you ever recommend to your firm that he be given a course to catch up? Should I try and get him training on my own? Stay out of it? Hi everyone, I’m looking for some post-interview advice. I had an interview last week that went really well. I emailed a thank you to the partners who were in my interview along with writing samples per their request, to which the managing partner responded, “let’s touch base Monday.” I didn’t hear back yesterday and am wondering whether it’s appropriate for me to follow up and if so, how do I word it? Or do I continue to wait? I want to show interest but not come off too aggressive. Many TIA!

I’ll preface with I’m new at this and learning. But I’m researching if I should do an IRA or back door Roth IRA. And maybe I don’t fully understand how taxes work but what is the benefit of a Roth? From my understanding, the amount of tax you pay is mainly based on your tax bracket. Wouldn’t I pay far less taxes (thus inadvertently getting more money) with a traditional Ira since me being retired would put me in a lower tax bracket than me well along in my career?
