Has anyone here been filed for a Senior PERM? Did it drag a lot the process compared to a Manager PERM? ie, PWD, recruitment,etc? Just wanted to see since my employer is filing a Senior PERM.

I know EY has a 1 year policy to initiate green card processing if you don’t have I-140 with your previous firm, but wanted to check if there is a way to initiate the process before 1 year

I have an approved I140 for audit position and I transferred from audit to advisory within the firm. Now my PD just became current. the firm attorney think I am still able to submit 485 application due to similar job duties and same OES code. I noticed the SOC code did change between my two H1b filings. I asked the attorney but they don’t think it matters as similar job duties and SOC codes are linked. Should I worry about it? I still work in the same entity and location, but title was changed.

Is it worth waiting for EB2 to become current or pay $10k trying for EB1A? My priority date is September 2016. I’ve been hearing about additional green cards being given to eb category.. would that help EB2? Got the confirmation email from Seyfarth that I didnt get selected for the second round. Any prediction for h1b FY22 look like? In 08, there wasnt enough applicants so anyone that applied would get it. I personally dont think I will be the case next year. Just my opinion. That thought doesnt have any proof though lol. H1 petition approved. Already have a B1/B2 stamped on the passport. As I get the H1 stamped, do they cancel the B1/B2? Or let it be on the passport?

Has anyone paid for premium processing for their I-140 out of pocket? EY filed my I-140 in June 2021 and is working on my I-485 now. I asked if I can pay for premium processing since the Texas processing center takes 11-13.5 months but I am not sure it will be worth it if the I-485 takes a long time. Thanks!
