Has anyone here been through the process of creating a program to handle big data from nothing? Software clients big data. If willing to chat that would be wonderful

Have you asked Fiver?

This is the kind of thing consultants will help you do for several hundred grand...

If you have budget for consultants, happy to chat on a compensated basis.

funny

… I’ve stood up 2 privacy programs and matured another with teams of 1 or 2. Like basically myself and someone else. You just gotta know what you’re doing. If budget is nonexistent, because a consulting team will be in the many hundreds of thousands, I say you pay a senior that is open to hourly pay and get some templates. And get cracking.

helpful

“You just gotta know what you’re doing” yep.

Now let’s get into the ai governance chat.

Lol

No, just trying to chat to understand the scope to brief executives on the effort to do it properly

This is something you hire a whole team for. Why are you asking for free work?

like

You mean like privacy and security compliance program? Comprehensive data handling program?

I can have a chat, to overview challenges etc…but make no mistake. This is a tricky area, and you need someone who talks the whole value chain-from architecture to cloud, to data governance and back. Just to start. Oh…and one thing is applying out of the box security controls…another very, very different to do “privacy ops”.

Plus…changing legal privacy to engineering lead privacy is pure transformation IT.

NOT to be lead by lawyers, but report to a board where CISO, CDO sit to make you aware of constrains etc.

It’s a full programme. Sure, can start small, but scale of change is wide and deep.

Btw…so this is clear. I’m a consultant on this area.

Hi everyone,

I was affected by layoffs about a month ago and urgently looking for a good immigration lawyer. The lawyer should be experienced in handling this 60 day grace period situation and developing alternate strategies - such as change of status to B1/B2 or applying to jobs from India. There is a lot of noise and wrong information going in the market so looking for good recommendations.

I have very little time left for my grace period to end and need a consultation soon. Thanks

So as a 30ish yo with a government/PE/tech background and CIPM/CIPP… I’m finding privacy work is just much easier and interesting than other kinds, but still pays plenty well.

Many thanks in advance.
