I'm currently working for a fintech firm as SQL Developer which has got me into a toxic working culture(zero support from colleges) with no learnings so far.

Although, I'm from a Commerce domain..I wanted to move into Data Analytics so I learned SQL and Tableau on my own to get myself better Data Analytic job opportunities to build my career in.

However, without any live projects and hands on experience on the tool, I could only learn a few things about these two mentioned tools. So

What are are the weird things that you do to introduce your culture to your non-South Asian partners? For example, I test my bf with a list of Indian mango 🥭 varieties such as Neelam, Banganapalli, Dasheri etc. and will call a pop quiz randomly 😂 🥭

Hi Fishes, I got a call from a consultancy (Avigna AB) about an on site opportunity in Sweden. In the initial discussion, they mentioned that that the visa processing shall take 2-3 months, during which I'll be paid Indian salary. Their upper limit for Indian salary is my current salary, although they offered to give a max of 15% on my current. The salary range for this role, in Swedish króna is between 45-50k.
Im a little confused on whether to move forward or not. Any advise?

Background story - I interviewed with a company that I really want to work for for a role that I was a perfect fit for. I went through 5 rounds of interviews then was told that they ended up going with an internal referral however the entire team loved me so much and they're looking for other roles for me. In the recruiter interview I wasn’t asked where I live. The job is with a huge sports wear company in Los Ángeles and I live in Miami. Does not living in the same city not make the hiring manger want to hire you even though I would move to the jobs location ASAP? And if they ask where I live do I say I live in their city? Even though I don’t and it’s a contract position.
