Sober Sunday check in ... how is everyone doing?
I’m looking for some additional tips and/or specific things to focus on in preparation for the multi-round interview process for a role at Amazon Web Services in what I assume is for one of the cloud services team. From what I’ve gathered, is the interviews are largely based on the leadership principles. However, how do I know which would be asked? which would be more related to the role/or team I’d be on? What other types of questions to prepare for leading to the 1-on-1 with the hiring manager

Unfortunately, if you’re serious about diminishing scars, laser resurfacing is the option that works best. Really expensive, but far more effective than microneedling.
You can also look into IPL photofacial! Also using vit c serum, retinol, and sunscreen to prevent them from getting darker.
Since you’ve decided to wait to save up for the lazer treatment, in the meantime, you can start to fade the hyperpigmentation with over-the-counter treatments. If you’re not already, make sure you work Niacinamide into your skincare routine. I also use Faded by Tropicals and Inkey List Tranexamic. Hyperpigmentation can take a long time to fade, so consistency is key.
Hydroquinone is the most intense ingredient available over the counter, but I wouldn’t use it without first consulting a dermatologist or an aesthetician.
Microneedling was what worked best for me. I’ve tried it with a growth serum, microneedling with PRP, and RF microneedling. Can’t report on the RF microneedling since I just got it but Microneedling + PRP made a marked improvement in my skin texture and acne scars ( I had boxcar and pick axe scars). Important things to note - a) I was red and swollen for 2 days post treatment and experienced peeling. b) very important to see an experienced aesthetician. Mine did a stamping technique on the scars which helped a lot!
I followed it up with professional grade skincare from AlumierMD to enhance results!
For reference - the price for microneedling is $500-900 CAD in downtown Toronto.
Ohh I’m in Toronto!! What location did you go to? That price sounds accurate bc my estimate was about 4K for a full package of 5. I’d love to get a consult where you got yours done !
I did microneedling but didn’t see a big change.
I did 4 sessions of micro needling.. I saw some improvement but nothing gun would spend more money on
Ok consensus is save up for the laser ! My estimate for microneedling was around 4K and I think I blanked out when she told me the laser estimate 🙃 I’ll save up hah

As a word of advice - prepare for at least a week of downtime after the treatment. In terms of being seen in public I mean. Some people don’t get swollen but I was so swollen especially under my eyes. I was being treated for some sunspots and broken capillaries so it might be different but I wasn’t expecting the level of swelling and I’ve heard other people have had similar experiences to me. I have one friend though who never swells at all!
I did chem peels, BBL, Moxi, along with other products to help with dark spots and scars. I would recommend going to a few providers for opinions. I don’t think there’s a magic formula and was told the treatments would help to accelerate but most of the work was done at home with the products.
