I'm a Registered Nurse who's been working as a sales professional for the last 11yrs. Ironically, none of the sales jobs I've been recruited for have been in healthcare. They've all been in the industrial setting (O&G, Chemicals, etc).

I just moved across the country for my husband's job, and the new job I found is terrible.

I'm looking to get back to my roots in healthcare and apply my sales experience to that sector, but I'm not getting any calls back for this sector. What am I doing wrong?

I am a mid-level associate in litigation. In law school, I focused on appellate litigation and did exclusively moot court and appellate focused classes (successfully, won several awards if it matters). I am now doing a lot more trial at work than I expected and am feeling out of my element and not as skilled as I would like. Obviously I should have done trial practice/mock trial in law school, but it being too late for that now, any recommendations on what I can do to improve as a trial lawyer?

Hi all,

I need your advice and suggestions

I am looking to have my career into management consulting. I am a 2020 grad from VIT University and have around 2.5 years of job experience. Currently I'm working as a sector analyst and my job includes a lot of primary and secondary research and insight crunching. I am very sound in using all the ms applications along with a little knowledge of SQL.

Right now, I feel my job is kind of monotonous and I'm getting a feeling to move out...

How did everyone get into tech recruiting? What’s your story and how have things progressed for you?

Have been doing Salesforce consulting for ~3 years and love it. When looking at next steps, I keep coming back to looking at Salesforce as a company, but keep hearing about the SE role, which is more sales focused than I'm interested in. For technical/consulting type roles, I don't see many openings short of technical architect. Anyone @ SF with any insight on technical focused roles I should keep an eye out for short of TA?

Can anyone here familiar with FDM Group shed more light on their contracts and operations? All I know about them is that their pay is grossly under market value even as a junior developer in training. Also you are locked into a 2 year contract in which you have to pay them should you leave for a higher paying job for example.

Does this group also have a non-compete which prevents you from working a second job should you need more money?

Would you recommend I take a project mgmt role at Meta under a 9 month contract for 60/hr or stay at a role that has potential with nearly no possibility of getting laid off? My fear is that the economy gets worse and I’m stuck after the 9 months.

Current comp is 40/hr. I could probably get a promotion around Dec 2022-April 2023 bringing my comp to around $100k salary (potentially more). I’m 24, 4 YOE, and this contract would be with Collabera with Meta as the client.

I work for a small company in a role I kind of fell into (and I am lucky for that). My team is great, they have their issues like any team and the job is pretty flexible, but I really don’t like what I do and I don’t see a a future unless I want to grow in supply chain. I have a final interview at another company in a sales roll, not a dream job but the team is great (have a friend who used to be on this team) and it’s at a huge company with TONS of opportunities (continued in comments)
