Has anyone here opted to fly business/first on an international flight while your travel mates were in economy on the same flight?

Really it’s a question of do you care what they’ll think of you do that

like

Not international but my SO leaves me in economy and goes to first sometimes 😂

funny

Lol I’ve offered to let my SO do this (and haha I think he’s going to take me up on it next trip) since I sleep super well on planes including in economy and he has princess and the pea syndrome and can only sleep in lie flat.

funny

By travel mate you mean like spouse or friend. Either way the answer is yes because I can’t handle economy for long flights

like

Yeah that’s fine. Actually I’ve only flown in economy once since covid so yeah I’d definitely do this

I have to travel to my client every week and the client’s office is attached to a very nice hotel that’s $250 per night. There’s a hotel right across the street that’s $150 per night.. it’s alright, but not as great. Should I be mindful about how much I’m spending or should I blow up the budget until someone says something?

Hoping for some advice on how to properly leverage another job offer to help make another company pull the trigger on you. I’ll explain: I’ve been interviewing with Company A for a month now and have met with GC, CFO, creatives, and today the final round with HR and CEO. I have a good feeling they will extend an offer but it’s not a slam dunk. I think I’m top 2. Company B has extended an offer but one that I’m not really considering (moving to a new city/not enough money). Do I mention this....
