You absolutely can get COVID after getting the vaccine. The vaccine only reduces transmission (to an extent) and reduces your symptoms so they are much more mild.
Since you received both doses, you should have the full efficacy of the vaccine, so symptoms should be very mild.

It actually depends on which vaccine. Pfizer revised theirs to 7 days after the second dose for full efficacy, Moderna is still 14 days.
Covid vaccines don’t prevent infection. Even if you get fully vaccinated you can get infected. What vaccines do is train your immune system to effectively fight covid so that when you do get infected, the infection is very minor, has little to no symptoms, and has a reduced chance of spreading to others.

Thats not what I said
My mom tested positive after her second dose. She had a headache for a week and that’s about it. Thankful for science and medicine!

I don't have any personal information on it, but based on the vaccine guidelines it's totally possible that you have contracted COVID after your second vaccine.
However, even just that first dose will afford you a lot of protection from the really gnarly COVID symptoms.
The vaccine doesn’t stop you from getting, it helps prevent you from getting to the point of hospitalization.
They greatly reduce the risk of getting it too
My dads job shut down for a week after 3 fully vaccinated mangers contracted COVID and spread it to their immediate daily facing coworkers. Majority ended up hospitalized.......

I have been hearing of people getting COVID weeks after getting their vaccination. It could be the variants.
Two weeks after second dose you are 94.1% immune.
Given incubation period, you probably got exposed just a day or two after your second dose, so closer to 80%. That’s a 20% chance of infection still.
Your symptoms should be much milder than they otherwise would have been, though.
And this is why us vaccinated folks must keep wearing masks. We can still get the virus and pass it to others (although so far, I believe the cases are less severe if caught from someone who is vaccinated).

Sorry 😣 How are you feeling?

I was feeling a bit more tired than usual this week but thought that could have been attributed to a lot of things! I decided to get a test after finding out about an exposure at Easter
Wife tested positive week after dose. Def happens.
You could have contracted in before that second dose.
I wonder if it complicates your 2nd dose
It doesn’t per guidance I’ve reviewed and doctors I’ve spoken to
My uncle did. So sorry to hear.

Thanks.
A coworker of mine just confirmed that they think they have COVID and they were fully vaccinated about 3 weeks ago. They are feeling pretty crappy
90% rate... not surprising some people got infected and feel sick
