How do you navigate getting a referral on a platform like this? Genuinely curious on if HR/Recruiting asks how you know the person you're referring, or if they don't care where the referral comes from.
Really interested in a junior PM role at Razorfish. A close friend currently works for a different Publicis org, so not sure if a referral from them would mean anything.

Hi Everyone,
I just received an offer to work as an software sales representative (SDR) for IBMs Z systems. I'm coming as a sales engineer in the cloud security space. Can anyone advise me on whether Z systems are something worth going into? Also what do the growth opportunities look like at IBM? Is there opportunity for lateral movement onto other teams? I don't have personal experience but I've heard pretty good things about Dell's solid W/L balance.
Culture and WLB are great. Lots of opportunities to learn and grow as well. Overall, I'd highly recommend it.
Great culture and learning/growth opportunities. One of the more diverse teams I've worked on, too, which is valuable to me. Pay isn't always the highest in the market but for the time I was there it was worth it to be on a low-stress team.
Yea, will be my first position at a technology company, and it matches my base I currently have which is nice and then commission potential is there. Thanks for the input everyone

I worked for them for nearly 3 years. I'm a seasoned professional and have seen them all. DFS is a top notch outfit, one of the best out there. Compensation is excellent. At my interviews they were more concerned about how I might fit and contribute than proving every detail of my technical abilities.
