I don't have personal experience but I've heard pretty good things about Dell's solid W/L balance.

Culture and WLB are great. Lots of opportunities to learn and grow as well. Overall, I'd highly recommend it.

Great culture and learning/growth opportunities. One of the more diverse teams I've worked on, too, which is valuable to me. Pay isn't always the highest in the market but for the time I was there it was worth it to be on a low-stress team.

Yea, will be my first position at a technology company, and it matches my base I currently have which is nice and then commission potential is there. Thanks for the input everyone

I worked for them for nearly 3 years. I'm a seasoned professional and have seen them all. DFS is a top notch outfit, one of the best out there. Compensation is excellent. At my interviews they were more concerned about how I might fit and contribute than proving every detail of my technical abilities.

A while ago, my firm gave me great performance review, said I was ready for promo, but didnt have the necessary months at level. Client took the chance, offered me a promo and pay raise. So I left.

I have been killing it, everyone agree I am "ready" for yet another promo but need more time and experience for the next level.

So client subsidiary offered me that promo and pay raise, and now they are surprised I am leaving, what did they expect? Lol

My annual review is in a few weeks. Compensation talk comes in March, so I want to use the Jan mtg as an opportunity to bring up a promotion. I killed it this year and really deserve it.

I feel so anxious that they’ll hear my son in the background if he cries or something. I keep thinking they might think I’m unprofessional. Writing this out to let my anxiety out a little.
