Hey. I just finished my first year in Computer Engineering and I'm interested in applying for the Microsoft Explore Internship and the Bold Internship at Google. I applied last year to both, but I didn't made it to an interview. Would like some advice to stand out in the application process. Also, I saw that a referral will help to get me there. I'm looking for someone that can refer me or give me advice, i'll appreciate it.

Anyone that works at Google is willing to share salary ranges for Account Manger, Account Strategist, Business Analyst positions? Not sure if there’s a big difference across locations but I am in Chicago if that’s helpful. I Normally check Glassdoor but it’s all over the place with these roles.

Q: for FAANG recruiters, do candidates get a reject stamp after failing even at the later stages?
I advanced to the last stage at Facebook (Meta) around a year ago but failed on my last interview, a combination of not being familiar with the process and not having chemistry with the interviewer.
A friend who is a hiring manager recently recommended me and this time without even a HR call I received a straight up thanks but no thanks email.
Does this mean I’ve been permanently black listed?
Is this true for most PMs?
I recently received an offer from Microsoft for a Program manager internship. I just found out that it wasn't at the location (local) i intended it to be and I have to relocate to Seattle. This really doesn't work out for my logistically and I was wondering if its possible to somehow switch it to a remote position. Please let me know if anyone has been in this situation before id greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I don't have personal experience but I've heard pretty good things about Dell's solid W/L balance.
Culture and WLB are great. Lots of opportunities to learn and grow as well. Overall, I'd highly recommend it.
Great culture and learning/growth opportunities. One of the more diverse teams I've worked on, too, which is valuable to me. Pay isn't always the highest in the market but for the time I was there it was worth it to be on a low-stress team.
Yea, will be my first position at a technology company, and it matches my base I currently have which is nice and then commission potential is there. Thanks for the input everyone
I was in DFS for 4 years - just recently left. Feel free to message me!

I worked for them for nearly 3 years. I'm a seasoned professional and have seen them all. DFS is a top notch outfit, one of the best out there. Compensation is excellent. At my interviews they were more concerned about how I might fit and contribute than proving every detail of my technical abilities.
