Any HR from Legato Health Technologies? Need some help.
20th is the last working day in my current organization and Legato is telling that my offer is still in approval stage. Whenever I call my HR I get the same assurance that it will definetly get approved.
Not sure if I should wait or should join the other company on 22nd.

I read a very insightful opinion article recently about night nurses. When the night nurse would take over she would start doing dishes, cleaning the house, etc and the mom/article author realized, “wow I should be spending this time with my newborn and I should hire someone to do all the other chores for me”. Just food for thought!
Wow, clearly no one understands my original comment, this is funny
I did, it worked well for me. In the interviews I checked that she/ her family was isolating at home (i.e., partner did not have a job that required them to go to work physically), and also that she had her own vehicle. She took a Covid test prior to joining us and tested negative. So after that there was no problem.
We hired an overnight doula two days a week. It has been wonderful and no regrets. She wears a mask the entire time. During the interview she was very up front with the questions we asked (esp around COVID precautions). I was against the idea first, but turned out the best thing we needed.
Her shifts are 10pm-6am and she does light housework for us (like chopping vegetables and sanitizing bottles).
Following. I had contracted with a night nurse, and a back up, and 3 weeks before delivery they both tested positive for COVID. Atleast I knew this before delivery and am trying to prepare mentally for not having any help. I live in a rapidly increasing state if that matters, so even night nurses or nannies are very high in demand...
Yep. Switched to 24/7 (it was not much more expensive, figured that was safer). She got tested before, her son drove her in, she changed when she got here, and she didn’t really leave much
It’s through an agency so I don’t think there’s much negotiation. I am also getting recs from friends and may be able to hire someone directly. But I like how this company has a lot of covid protocols, requires testing, and if I deliver early they will sub someone in for me. I wouldn’t want them doing any housework, I don’t want them making noise at night. (Well, any additional noise besides the baby).
