What's the best area to live in in SF proper?
Hey all, anyone have insight into LEK’s final round for Associates? I was told it would consist of 3x 30 min cases (quant, strategy, business logic). My first round quant was market sizing, and strategy was market entry so not sure if it will be the same, but also not sure what business logic consists of. Also, assuming it will be with Principals and Partners? Any other tips from current or former L.E.K. Consulting people, or anyone who’s gone through the process would be great!
Anyone from Mercer here? Had a few questions.

I had literally 10 friends do the thing where they pay twice the rent, break the lease, and move with their parents. I thought it was a little dramatic at the time but ultimately they are saving money rather than living in NYC with no city life. The next 12 months are going to be where city life gradually makes modifications - it’s gonna take way longer than a few months. And obviously we don’t go to offices much since we’re consulting. Last resort option but worth considering
Mine in NYC was up for renewal and I kindly asked what accomodations they could make. They didn't raise my rent and added a 60-day cancellation rider. Just ask, they're all more flexible right now because they'd rather not have an empty unit on the market during a pandemic.
Each state has their own laws, some may allow you if you lose your job. You could try subleasing
Did this in Chicago. The laws there strongly favor the resident. You can meet with an attorney that can help you get out of a lease there. You might get a little cash for your trouble too if they find any issue with the lease.
