I've been a digital advertising PM now about 3.5 years. I accidentally through negotiations for more money wound up as a senior PM at my last agency and I constantly feel like an imposter.
I never feel good enough for the role and the one thing I think I need is a window into the life of a GREAT PM. I'm tired of feeling like my teams are disappointed in me.
Can someone shed some light on their daily activities and what it takes to be a success in this role? I know it differs every where.
I was applying for a consultant job at McK but never thought i will be chosen for the interview. Any tips how to prepare for the interview in 2 weeks time? Any recommended coaching program? I havent done any preparation. Last time i did casing was 8 years ago. I am very nervous right now.
I currently work in SaaS software implementation and really want to break into product management. I am finding it hard to get interviews. I feel that I have a ton of transferable skills - agile delivery, customer insights, working with ui/ux, engineering, marketing, business, IT to get something shipped and more. Anyone willing to help me out? Review my resume?

My fiance has been out of work for the past 2 years after leaving Hobby Lobby. His most recent experience is as a farm hand in Oklahoma. Do you have any advice for him as he is applying to jobs and trying to get back into the manual labor or warehouse industry? Is there anywhere you think he should apply?
I had an interview on 2/25 that went well but they let me know it would be a couple weeks before they make a decision. The hiring manager gave me her cell number at the end, but I haven’t used it yet. I sent her a thank you email and haven’t heard anything since (this Friday is going to be 2 weeks). Since she gave me her number, should I text her at this point to reiterate my interest? If so, what would you recommend saying? (Cont…)

It's been 1 year at my current company. I've gone thru 3 managers, 2 directors & the recruitment team I'm on dwindle down from 20+ to 10. Recently, my manager was let go & 3 people are trying to do their job. I'm starting to get concerned as this manager had a good connection & communication with our team. Now, we're just kind of in limbo with little communication. I'm hanging on & riding this out but a part of me thinks it may be time to update my resume. Any advice?

I currently work as an Investment Solutions Rep at Fidelity making $55k plus about $12-15k in bonuses. A recruiter reached out about the FSA position and it sounds like a sizeable raise, but is it an enjoyable position? What exactly do you do? How difficult are the metrics?
Greetings all, I'm concluding 20 years of military service as an IT PM and looking for something in the Las Vegas area. I'm currently going through a school for A+, Net+, Sec+, and CYSA. I'd appreciate if anyone had personal suggestions for good companies outside the Defense and Gaming industries.
I think there needs to be a fishbowl friends or fishbowl dating aspect similar to Bumble. Would make this app so much better…
Was recently offered 70k from a well known business in the Huntsville/Madison area as an Electro/Mechanical Technician. I currently have 8-9 years of experience but no degree. Does this seem low? What are the “going rates” for this position with this level of experience? All input welcome!

Has anyone done trips to Japan with a 3 or 4 yo? Looking for kids related acticities and recommendations. Planning to go in April for 8 to 10 days.
Thinking about bringing in other solo attorneys to my practice. I'm thinking about charging them 25% of whatever they make. In exchange, they would get all the clients that come in (which is a ton), legal assistant, receptionist, free rent, and free office expenses. They basically would be running a solo practice with zero overhead.
Is 25% fair? Thoughts?

I am an ETL developer who got a chance to work on spark recently within my organization. Initially struggled and now got comfortable with scala spark in my project. I am looking to change job in data engineering but most JDs I see are asking for pyspark and not scala spark, only few are asking scala or Java or python.
Should I really learn python and pyspark as well to be able to find more opportunities? Or should I only apply for scala based roles?

Anyone work on interpretable modeling to inform strategy? Not posthoc analysis on tactical models, but finding actual causal effects that can be extrapolated on. Any notable takeaways, or specific research and even classes and books you'd recommend? Would love to talk directly if that's easier.
If anyone is thinking of leaving interview prep until you've got time - don't. All it takes is a few hours a week to keep yourself new offer ready. I didn't invest that time, and ashamed to say, the timeboxed job hunt is now pretty scary. Offshore recruiter mail has become cause for highs, and the anxiety about making rent in a few months is real. Can't imagine if I had a family relying on me... Hope this little anecdote tips the scale for anyone on the edge of prepping. Don't make my mistake.

I am currently working in advisory and am looking to transition into a data analytics role. I have a math degree but feel under qualified for even an entry level position. Are there any trainings or certificate programs anyone could recommend? Or advice in general for entering this field?
Do any of the top consulting firms have analytics roles (preferably not super technical) that don’t require weekly travel?
Coming to the realization that consulting is not for me (tech person) feeling angry that salaries at D will never be on pair with FANG and that leadership is not tech focused. For example you could be a soul contributor at fang making 240k and people at Deloitte wait 10+ years to earn that as Senior Managers because they need to climb the corporate ladder. It seems super clear cut to me now, if you want to make money in tech don’t join consulting firms. Am I wrong?
