A few days later, she called asking about a possible start date and location, and requested me to send a copy of my ID. She told me the result will come out in two days and exactly two days later, she told me the result is delayed and to wait a few more days. I can't help but feel like I didn't get the job. Is it true that product based companies have better work life balance than service based. I recently joined a big IT firm after my MBA in process improvement (quality). After two months of working 12-13 hours a day i realize this is not going to work for me. Looking for something less hectic (like 10hrs a day max). Is it only possible in product based companies?

Had a weird/bad? Interview yesterday. I don’t even know what question to ask about it! Mostly just want to hear diff takes on it.

3rd round with the woman who would be my direct line manager if I got the role. Content marketing manager role, she was head of content. She was late, underdressed/not too presentable, and unprepared! Felt like I was having to move the conversation forward. Lots of long pauses, and I did most of the conversation-bridging.

Thoughts? Ideas? Interpretations?
