Just got an interview call for Telecom consultant role in Infosys.

HR asked for video interview and I dont mind that. I replied the HR that panel also puts on their web cam. It's not a healthy way to communicate during inteview when panel remains on audio (and perhaps in their shorts and baniyan ) :D

And interviewing the candidate wearing formals.



Secondly, any tips sharks for the interview ?

How important is having a job title that specifies a focus in employment law in the context of salary and future job prospects? This is opposed to something general such as attorney or council. If I'm looking for a position in employment law with a general title on my resume, will perspective employers rule me out because of it? I just asked for a title change and I am not sure how hard to push for it.

Need some advice as I already have an offer from EY but my other interviews are not over yet. I have ongoing interviews with Microsoft, Twilio and Revolut. They are trying to fasten up the process but I believe it might take another 7-10 days time.

On the other hand, HR in EY is asking to make a decision urgently, which is understandable as they have already waited for 3 days now.

5 rounds of interviews and final interview case study and I get the dreaded thanks, but no thanks email and feedback that I did have the desired experience for the role. Why take up 6 weeks of my and their teams time? I am amazed by the amount of “waste” and “cost” an agile / lean company would burn through on a candidate they see as unsatisfactory. I Meh!

I’m interviewing for a an EA role to CEO, who is also interviewing for a chief of staff. CEO has alluded to me being a great CoS based on recent exp, and longer term COO and has asked if I’m going to find the EA role limiting. Do I address my interest in the CoS role, plus gaps in my experience or do I focus on the EA role and finding opps to add value outside of EA responsibilities without stepping on the CoS toes? I really want to work for this CEO & don’t want to talk myself out of the EA job

Hi guys! I had an interview last Saturday with the CEO for an EA role (that was the 3rd interview). The company rushed the process for me because they knew I had another offer. The first 2 interviews went extremely well that’s why they rushed & asked the ceo to interview me on a Sat. morning. Huge common point: The CEO and I are both French. The interview went kinda weird… it was less than 15min. Looked distracted/ not prepared. When I asked him questions he barely elaborated. Comments⬇️

So lately I have been applying for roles: junior business analyst/ project assistant/ project management entry/ project coordinator and have been hit with all rejections. It sucks but i must press on.

Now my question is, how the hell do i break into the work space?

She calls me to tell me they just couldnt justify the base salary I require for this market even after an hour meeting with the regional

I got a job offer for what seems to be a great company but I’m not sure if I would have the same life balance. I started interviewing as a way to see my worth in the industry. My current role is at a small company, and I’m not sure how I could grow within the role because Im not advancing my skill, I just do the same thing every day at a lower level. I like my current role because it’s flexible and I’m paid well for not doing very much work. Should I switch to a more rigorous job?
