Does anyone know how the Sainsbury DTD tech teams work?
I recently got an offer for a London location but it says I should be prepared to travel at least 2 times a week, but the number of travels depends on the team.@sainsbury

My company had been holding back title change and just gave me one with a raise. I had already planned to talk to them about salary before I knew this was happening. It was also two weeks before performance reviews where they do a merit based raise.

Is it wrong to fight for a raise on top of what they gave me? I had found out the salary of what they are hiring for my role and I am on the lower end even though I’m covering that market currently. Should I ask for what they are offering new hires?

Any tips on how to network? Trying to break into an associate role and it seems like my best chances are by networking but not quite sure what the best practices are.

I’m interviewing for jobs that would essentially lead to a minor career pivot. I have gotten to 4 straight final rounds (4-5 interviews and a presentation for each company) to be told I’m second choice in favor of someone with more experience. I’m losing my mind and so tired of interviewing tbh. What can I do differently, or do I just need to chill out and wait for a company to say yes?

Has anyone switched from audit to regulatory reporting? Is it worth it if transfer from a big 4 audit senior to top1 bank as a regulatory reporting analyst? How is exit opportunity for this position? Thermo Fisher for Data Engineer in AWS and Python and Ameriprise as Lead Developer for Informatica Powercenter. Ameriprise is offering 50k more in my monthly salary than Thermo Fisher. My preference is to join in where I can grow and get a good learning for future career growth. Also, work life balance should be good in the organization.

I have got my L2 Dependent Visa stamped for the US through the Wife's organization and she has booked the tickets for the both of us in the next weekend. Any suggestions on how to quantify admin assist on sales? I know it’s complicated per org, but trying to find a path so admin commission on sales isn’t subjective.
I know technically everything a sales team admin does helps lead to sales but not sure how to quantify it so it isn’t dependent on the whims of a manager and whether or not they’re having a bad day.

Have been allocating slide and model building to junior teammates for so long I legit feel like if I went to industry and have to do real work I would get called out as a fake and be fired immediately.
