Is it worth telling a company you’re interviewing with (in final stages) that you have another offer? Or will they just lose interest / panic and think you’ll go elsewhere + drop you?
I’ve been through 5+ weeks of interviews with a company that will IPO next year and they did a bait and switch on me with the offer: it was advertised as “Head of” and then during the offer-walk-through-meeting today they said “oh btw we changed the title to ‘Senior Manager’ for this role”. They offered me a salary I made 4 years ago as a manager. They offered stock options with an exercise price TBD 1 year from now…which is when they’re hitting IPO. Is that normal for stock options?
When it's Wednesday afternoon... and you're waiting for that "we'll contact you early next week" email after a potentially life changing interview ...AND EVERY SPAM EMAIL MAKES YOU WANT TO DIE.

Hi!! Has anyone here interviewed for an AWS role? I’ve linked the role below. My dad is interviewing for this role and I would love to give him some tips on how to suceed. He’s super excited! I’ve been looking for an in-house position for years now and I’m emotionally worn out. I got through numerous rounds of interviews with one company recently, only for them to pass. I’ve cried and prayed over this, finally realizing that it may not be in the cards for me. I hate my firm and law firms, so I’m trapped. It just sucks because I’m an over-achiever but I’m failing miserably at my legal career. Did anyone have any luck with landing an in-house job after years of trying? Any advice?
So if you get laid off what do you tell prospective employers when interviewing? Do you pretend you weren't laid off?
3 years ago, I interviewed someone who didn’t get the job. They emailed me weeks after, and asked, “I don’t care if I don’t get the job, I just want to be friends.” I never responded. Still feel bad
Any insights on HP interview?
I interviewed for an internship at an agency I wasn’t super excited about, but wanted to get some interview practice in. When I met the ACD who interviewed me, we really hit it off and it made me (..)
I’m interested in applying for this job, but the company is actually my current client. Should I wait to apply for the job until after my project ends in January assuming it’s still available?
When I interviewed for Accenture I didn't have a case study question. I was wondering if anyone else had the same experience?

It's been 3 weeks since I joined IBM. I am still not allocated to any project. Is there any way where I can find suitable project for my skill set and apply for it myself?
I recently joined a boutique firm after leaving a Big 4, around a month now, but having second thoughts. Is it bad to Look elsewhere after only a month? I'm not comfortable with how they have treated me regarding some requests and just don't feel at ease. If you know a firm hiring in FS or MC space in general, please help me. Thank you.
Thoughts on getting a MS in Systems Engineering? Is it still relevant/competitive against a MS in Comp Sci/Data Science for Product Management/Startup roles? What exactly can you do with it? Assuming a top program.
The more pedestrian your intellect, the better fit you are at D Heard of a colleague with an FRM charter being laid off today. Overall excellent person. And you won't believe who they promote year after year.. the character, curiosity and quality of the lifers Don't join this firm if you for a love of learning and to be inspired. Join if you are a middling who wants a good brand to hack ahead in life and rise above your station
Are there any benefits to doing the same exercise routine everyday vs mixing it up? For example, I do like yoga, running, body weight exercises, and HIIT. Should I do a combination of these or stick to one type for consistency?
Considering between 2 offers for strategy and ops analyst/associate with similar comp: DoorDash vs Yelp 2.5yoe What would yall pick, does anyone have insight into culture, brand, etc?
I’m 29, at my first serious job, and am getting fired (not laid off). Feel like an idiot, and don’t know anyone else my age who has been fired. If you’ve been fired, can you tell me about it? I’m LA based in PR & Comms.
Sick of biglaw but I want to stay one more annual bonus season. I’m seriously burned out and would like to shift gears but I’d like to leave after ending my 5th year. I am potentially looking to just try and hide/keep my head low to avoid work as much as possible/“slack off” and wonder how possible is to do that for a year without getting fired? I aim to maximize vacay time, and just in general try to avoid any work I don’t absolutely have to do.
In Accenture’s Federal practice what is a good range for someone with five years of experience and a non MBA masters? Also what level should I come in? Anticipating an offer soon. TIA.

What is your opinion on GARP financial Risk Manager (FRM) certificate? I am considering taking it (as I am FS Risk Consulting), but I am not sure if it really carries benefits. Apparently it is quite a tough study. Is it worth the time or should I invest my time elsewhere? Also do you have learning material you are willing to share :D?
I’m currently an IB analyst at a no name shop in LA. I’m employed as a 1099 and I currently get 70k/year + 5% of deal fees I’m staffed on. This makes my all in extremely variable as I made 210K in ‘19 and 70k in ‘20. We let someone go this year and I asked for a raise and he bumped me up to to that 5% from 4%. However we just signed up 4 new clients, which would greatly increase my workload as I’m the only junior guy. Would it be messed up to ask him to bump me to 100k base or I quit?
