I started working for my company about 6 weeks ago and I was originally hired to work from a specific location closer to my home. I was told the 1st day of my employment that the location “is not ready yet” and that I would be working out of a temp location further from my home. It has been really inconvenient for me to say the very least and the remote option is unavailable to me until after the probation period which is 6 months. How should I approach having this conversation with my director?
I'm going to have to show my students this one! 😂
PwC Hello all,
I'm a chartered accountant in India having a total work experience of 9 years in internal audit including SOX, Enterprise Risk Management and process based audits. Currently, I'm working as Senior Associate in PWC and my company is offering me an international transfer to USA. My preferred location is Los Angeles, CA. I need to know a salary range that I can expect, given my experience and preferred location.

Super interesting investment. I've lived in the Boston area for 15 years, and I've been amazed at the new sales records set for parking in high density areas like the Back Bay (upwards of $250k for a garage space!). Long term risk of ride hailing and autonomous vehicles lowering demand, but I'm guessing those days are pretty far off.

Do you have to pay 85k upfront? <5% cap is kinda low. Although there might be room for appreciation as there are a lot a development in Essex crossing
Yea 85k up front to own the space. $250 per month combined after that in maintenance fees and taxes. Could probably clear 300 per month in passive income after taxes and fees plus upside of appreciation after development of that area
If you don’t want it, I’ll take it.
Just kidding, not really but take the deal if it’s within your means.
Essex crossing is a huge development and the neighborhood is undergoing an overhaul (Trader Joe’s, movie theater, Target). You might not find someone immediately but definitely in the next 5 years once all the developments have been completed.
As someone who has lived in NYC for the past decade... wtf is Essex Crossing?? 😂
