I got an offer from Cognizant Business Consulting as Senior Consultant for their Banking domain. Salary provided is approx 23.5 LPA and. 1.5 LPA as bonus. Should i join it? How is the work culture in India?How is the onsite opportunity?

Is BCG deteriorating in terms of culture and quality of people? The folks I’ve talked to recently (from BCG) are slip shod and not professional. Not sure if I had a “miss” but it seems across the board (comparing to McKinsey and Bain) that they are slipping in terms of caliber and reputation. How do I become a faster writer? People like my writing skills and I am now getting asked to write substantive appellate and responsive briefs. The issue is that I’m struggling to meet deadlines. It takes me twenty minutes to write a single sentence. I spend too much time fixated on revising prose sentence by sentence, instead of just moving on and revising later.

In terms of billables, is it fair to bill the amount of time an assignment should take rather than what it actually takes? For example, if I'm drafting a document that should take an hour, but I'm done in 15 min because I have a shell from a previous assignment that I can just edit, is it fair to still bill an hour?

I lateraled to a new firm in a new state this year and just finished taking the bar exam last week. I don’t have strong relationships yet at this firm and I am not sure how to integrate back into it, besides letting everyone know that I finished the exam and am available for work.
