It’s a pretty tough recruitment screening process. They’re looking to fill the profile of preppy and perpetually happy. You go through a computerized candidate profile based on your interests and preferences, e.g. are you generally neat or messy? It’s 100% better to outright lie on the initial profiling questions and just say what they want to hear. I had a real issue with it because I answered honestly about who I am as a person, but does not reflect my work personality. E.g., at home I’m a total slob, dirty laundry on the floor etc. but if you look at my workspace it’s pristine and abides by the clean desk hoteling policy should someone want to use my desk space. The company doesn’t really look for the best talent per say, so long as you fit the brand and culture. I would say mediocre industry company to work for unless you really love Disney and find intrinsic value in the brand and lifestyle.
Yeah I just left PwC for a job there. Let me know if you have any questions. I know if you work in corporate reporting the wlb is there when it’s not monthly/qtr/yearly close.. 40 hour work weeks outside of that.
I have worked with them in the past and think their finance team carries a fairly hardcore culture. they care little about their people and have no respect for work life balance. wouldn't recommend it.
I have an upcoming interview with Northrop Grumman for a Human factors/ UX researchers position. I am currently in that role in a different company but severely underpaid. Any insight on how the process is with them ? And recommendations?

Standard working setting but I guess it varies team to team

Woah, and as someone at KPMG you know how to compare when it comes to WLB. I figured they would leverage to overwork people not unlike a Big 4.
