Has anyone made a switch from admin healthcare work to a tech job in data with no bachelors degree?

I did. I was able to make that transition through my working experience. I went from being a chair side dental assistant, to dental admin, to practice manager. I left the dental field and started at the bottom in a call center of a healthcare organization. Over 3.5 years, I almost doubled my salary and moved up the latter to a much higher position. The higher position was analyst based, but not as technical as most companies. I was able to gain exposure and experience to sales force, which helped me land my new role outside of healthcare. Also, there are great resources like Udemy, where you can find almost any tech based application class for purchase.

I was a Health and Wellness Director/LPN ( admin) and I just switched to Health IT with no degree at all.

Sadly, no one that I know. Are you considering this transition? If so, may I ask why?

Thank you, yes I have been considering for a while. Just staffing has been way past critical and salary has even touched the inflation rates.

Do you have any recommendations?

I have been taking the google data analytics course and have been applying but no such luck! I enrolled in a class to help better my resume! So hopefully all this work isn’t for nothing! I am more in staffing I staff over 100 employees and staffing for healthcare has been terrible

It’s been a great program but I hear a lot of people have a hard time finding a job in the field so I don’t know how useful it will be. Time will tell.

Are there any cardiographic technicians or EKG techs here. Been trying to figure out how much we should be getting paid when I have a bachelor's in Exercise Science and due stress testing.

I’m exhausted and confused. I left my prior job as a plaintiff’s litigation attorney around 8 months ago after 4 years with the firm because I thought I really was not cut out for plaintiff’s work. I joined a defense litigation firm, but have realized that it’s not the clientele, but the litigation part of the job I hate. I just spent the evening looking for in-house opportunities and it’s looking bleak. Any tips or tricks?

I think I made a mistake becoming an attorney. I am way too stupid for this. As in I lack the ability to make the simplest logical decisions or rational choices. I guess it’s time to find a career more fitting my mental capabilities.

I went from making $70k the last 7 years to now started a new job a month ago making $130k plus $10k bonus every year, and $60k in RSUs. I have $70k in my 401k and around $50k in savings. Want to get out of the Silicon Valley which has been home my whole life and buy in TX or AZ a ~$400k house. I have about $20k in student loans which my dad has offered to pay (wants to make up for never supporting me) but I’m waiting to see what Biden decides for student loans. Is this feasible? I want to work remotely, but am needing ideas for what to put on my resume. I’ve been an RN for 15 years and have worked mainly in hospitals: med surg, and some work in LTC, SNF, ALF, hospice. I have a year of teaching nursing students in clinicals and labs, and some lecture teaching. Also, I have done regional advising at a call center for 7 months. Just how to put this on a resume to “sell” myself seems challenging.
