It seems like there’s a huge range of salaries for “art directors” even within the same city... Does anyone have insight to what range I would be looking at (overall range, lower end of range because I’m a junior currently?). Hey All! Anyone have any experience suggesting to an exec that we use a later time slot for a Monthly Team Meeting series? Ours is currently at 8:00am PT on Monday’s. It’s so hard to be camera ready and enthusiastically talk to my team at that time, especially since it’s after the weekend and half the team is still waking up. Cameras are off and participation in that meeting is abnormally low. As an EA I never schedule Monday meetings earlier than 10:00am PT so I’m not sure why we keep this one.

Any tips or favorite examples of great producer websites? I’ve never had one as I consider myself a generalist and always thought of it as something for editors, designers, and cinematographers who need to show their specialty. Now it appears to be something producers are expected to have. Any tips on what to include and how to make it stand out?

How does one get the hell out of agency production? I’m five years into this biz. Its chaotic as hell, and never stops. Anyone made the jump to client side or in house production? Was it any less chaotic?

Traditionally an Integrated Producer is one who manages production across all platforms for a client or clients. Is that not correct? Why do some job postings refer to integrated as if it is a PM? Why do some refer to it as a producer who manages site development and analytics? Can someone explain what exactly agencies are talking about these days when they say “Integrated Producer”?
