Quick (amateur) question about leveraged ETFs. A lot of literature says it should not be for long term investment but I am not sure why and would appreciate any clarification. Take SOXL for example, a triple leveraged semi conductor etf. If you are bullish on the semi conductor industry, why would you not want to be a long-term investor in SOXL?

I am 27, I just took on ownership of a new team and now have a team of 11. One of my direct reports 40yo male makes double my salary. Is this strange or does this happen? Female fish, what’s making you staying in M&A consulting beyond manager? Looking at female vs male split in our offering (non-PMI, DD related only), there really aren’t that many females beyond Mgr level.
