Let’s take a poll: What do you love/hate about your position in Insurance? I’ll go first:
Florida PIP Litigation 1+yrs at Progressive
Love: WFH, Flexibility of not being “chained to desk” all day because I don’t have to take outside customer calls, ability to complete work assigned at any time of day within 72hrs, no micromanaging from my Supervisor, feeling like I’m my own boss
Hate: getting assigned bulks from others and it throws off efficiency of reviewing suits, monotony, depositions
It likely is not legal due to tax reasons. There is probably a company policy in place but it’s definitely worth looking into
Does your company currently have an office in your home country? If so, then I think it could be feasible but if not you’re likely out of luck
My friend works for ny-based company, but is secretly travelling around Europe. I also met someone in Mexico City who worked for a major nyc-based company, but didn’t tell her employer. You can try vpn etc., but depending on the company it can be risky.

My friend is based in NYC but working literally everywhere and not telling them and when she told my SO (an engineer who used to work in IT), he said IT 10000% can tell where she is. They just aren’t necessarily reporting it. So it’s definitely risky depending on your company.
