Has anyone needed to be on blood thinners during their treatment? Found out I have Factor V Leiden from the genetic testing/bloodwork I did and the clinic referred me to a hematologist. He said I would need to use heparin throughout the process and for a month after egg retrieval while the estrogen levels come down. Just wondering how common that is & any thoughts/advice appreciated! (Also wondering if the heparin costs would be covered by insurance if the rest is out of pocket)

Hello, does anyone work as an auto underwriter for insurance? I recently got accepted for an internal job position and was offered $50k. I’m currently a claim processor making $20/hour so the offer is more than what i’m making but is low in comparison to the average salary for an auto underwriter in AZ (which is around $58k). Well-traveled people: what seem like the best major market cities to live in with access to great in-house jobs (FAANG, adjacent companies, etc.). Some markets seem like really fun places to live but seem insanely expensive (San Fran, DC). In Austria, I can take up to a year off, but only receive €2,000 a month from the government 😳… I don’t think there is any paid leave through the firm. Pregnancy through birth costs are pretty covered by insurance though. Would love your thoughts!
