Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. Hi, I had worked with cognizant for 8 years. At the beginning, i had worked under BPO for three years and then moved to IT and worked as a tester for the remaining years. However, the receiving letter had not been mentioned about the BPO experience. So could we ask Cognizant to provide two reliving letters of one related to the BPO?

My friend recently asked two years into her lateral gig (m&a, 5th year at v15 ) and the firm was more than happy to sponsor.
Omg! What year are you? I just asked a my current firm to sponsor mine. I’m finishing up my second year and they normally sponsor at year four. If they say no, I’m thinking about potentially seeing if this is an option at other firms. It costs firms like 20.30k to sponsor it (which I’ve billed that in a week for two for them) so I feel like I really deserve it after a crazy year. Besides firms have been giving retention bonuses.
Have you heard of when other firms sponsor green cards? Or what the hot lateral market is enabling?
I know someone who negotiated it through a recruiter to have this included in their offer letter (new firm will sponsor if the lateral associate is in good standing after 1 year). I do think firms generally do not sponsor junior associates/immediately especially if you still have a few years left on your work visa.
I know someone that did the same.
Update. I have a friend who is a third year going on fourth year who just lateraled and got the new firm to start green card process as soon as she arrived
