I get so bored in my jobs, why is that?

I’ve been job hunting for a year. Now that I’m 12 weeks, I’ve slowed the search a bit, but know it’ll take months to get an offer anyways. I’m not disclosing my pregnancy until as late as possible to my current colleagues, work network and social media, just in case a new gig falls into my lap. Mentally I’m prepared to stay at a company I hate until baby comes along, then really hit the gas on making an exit before my maternity leave is up.
I would wait to tell the company until you have an offer at hand. I was interviewing and told them I was pregnant..and they said they would want me for the future but not at this moment.
Hope you find the job you’re looking for! Stay positive :)
Completely agree! I wanted to say something but the stress wasn’t worth it. I tried reaching out to partner and HR to ask what I could’ve done better. No response until recently where the partner asked how I was doing…🙄
I changed jobs while pregnant. I have great work life balance but I will have no paid maternity leave, nor do I qualify for Fmla, I also don’t get short term disability because pregnancy is “preexisting condition”. I would wait until you have an offer and then make sure you will be able to take the time off you need. If paid maternity is important to you, ask about how long you have to work to get the benefits.
I told my boss when I started getting bad morning sickness and knew I needed some flexibility. This was about a month after I started at the company.
