“Every clinician and patient deserves to have effortless access to Respiratory Therapists. We as healthcare providers have all had the moment at some point in our career, when we wished a Respiratory Therapist was right there with us. This is one of many reasons I felt morally compelled to provide Tele RT (tRT) with Beam Healthcare.” -Ashley Tabbert, Director of Respiratory Therapy at Beam Healthcare (beam.healthcare)
This statement holds true, maybe even more so now in the midst of COVID-19.
In my Beachbody groups I have had friends drop weight, exercise regularly, and in two to three months note improvements. A few stick it out for 6 months or longer and can get off of their meds all together. It does take all three - exercise, sleep and especially diet. No magic. Not everyone has the discipline. But, you are already a determined person and know how to succeed. You can do this. Are you in stage 1 or 2 of hypertension? And have you seen Dr? It is serious stuff. Don’t play around, please. Feel free to reach out if you’d like.
Yes. I was always high blood pressure and I assumed it was from sleep issues for the longest time. Not high enough to get a doc to notice and put me on meds though. I started gaining a lot of weight and eventually became diabetic. Blood pressure was noticeably higher too so I was put on meds for that too. It lasted for about 3 years or so until I got desperate and tried carnivore. I have no health issues now. Blood pressure is either perfect (I check multiple times a day) or runs in the lower range now, like 110 over 70. Before diabetic, I only checked at the docs office which was usually high, like 140/90-100 range. Since pressure can go up during stress, docs just attributed it to being at the doc office. When I was getting checked during my diabetic time, it would sometimes come in at 160 range for systolic. Don’t remember diastolic. Anyway, once on carnivore (don’t know the timeframe of when it went down) it stabilized to 120/80. The only initial concern I had on carnivore was by cholesterol, since my ldl went higher. But my hdl went higher too and my triglycerides were bottomed out. So My overall cholesterol was great! The biggest benefit for me was taking matters into my own hands. Docs only know pharmaceutical fixes for everything and that’s what they’ll give you. I do my own blood pressure checks now and my own blood work, and do my own research on everything now including hormone levels. I don’t wait for a doc appointments. My endocrinologist was surprised when I came in for a check up and I no longer needed her :). Considering she was struggling to keep my blood sugar levels, blood pressure and cholesterol levels good

Go to your doctor and ask for help with weight loss, they may put you on a program and perhaps give you an appetite suppressant. Or join a weight loss clinic that you go to weekly/bieeekly.
