I did. Make connections and get yourself out there ASAP however you can. Working contract gigs to pay the bills sucks.
I did 5 years ago. I’m so much happier. Get out and network with alumni groups, bar groups , friends of friends, etc. It took me 4 months to find the job I wanted, but I’m loving it.

Yes. My advice is to apply to as many jobs as you can to get your foot in the door. You’d be surprised at how hard it can be when you don’t have that states specific experience for someone to give you a chance (unless you have stellar credentials which I did not). Then, network, network, network until you find your dream job if you haven’t yet. I also did informational interviews (nobody does that anymore) and interviewed a former associate at a firm before I took a job there and ended up making a good friend out of it.
