Hi All,
Persistent Systems is giving 10% variable on gross annual CTC. HR says you would receive minimum 70% of variable pay every month and remaining 30% will credited once a year at the end.
Does anyone has idea on this? Can I believe this and include 70% variable in my take home

If you are confident enough to grab a new offer or you have confidence to live without job as well even after your 3 months savings you keep papers and have some quality time
It's not a good idea to drop a job until you have another offer. Is it really that bad?
Just take a break. Don't think too deep. Appraisal won't be 100% maybe just 10% max. So don't think too much and spoil your health.
In my 8 years of experience I have seen many resignations in the MNCs I worked.. none resigned ever without an offer in hand..
If you are frustrated, keep your head low, complete the tasks and then start hunting..
No never
Serve the notice period or discuss with HR or take a break. I'm not so supportive of the idea of leaving the company without any in-hand offer.
Agreed, I think it's way too risky. And so many places are hiring, you'll get a new offer very quickly if you start applying now
Really depends on how high your motivation is and how much you believe in your own abilities. If you know that its your workplace making your productivity and motivation low, then changing your workplace may be what you need to do. If you know you have the skills and the motivation outside of your current workplace, you shouldn't have a problem finding interviews and getting a new job within 3 months. However if your lack and productivity and motivation are due to burnout in your field and you actually need a real break, I wouldn't leave until you have at least six months worth of savings. You want to be able to actually take the time off you need to rest and recharge before jumping back in. Evaluate the problem and your feelings about it, and make a decision from there.
Thanks!
No, you should definitely have a job lined up before putting in a notice
Risky.. Think if the risk is worth it.
I have because I truly believe things always work out and there is always better out there. I quit a job and had a new one the very next day...it just fell into my lap. I don't know that I suggest doing it to others but for me, I will always bet on myself.
