Has anyone read High Performance Habits by Brendon Burchard? I feel like so many of the traits and habits he describes come so naturally to ADHD high achievers, and I find it fascinating.

Is anyone on a low dose of Adderall or a similar stimulant, and do you find it helpful/effective?

When I was diagnosed (at 20 yo) I started on Adderall XR and my psychiatrist essentially took a “keep upping the dose until you feel side effects” approach, even though I still saw some benefits at a lower dose. I’m currently unmedicated and am somewhat hesitant to restart, but feel I could see some benefit and better stability with the help of medication.

Another billing question, this one for the litigators: what are your go-to narratives for all of the time that gets sucked up by dealing with emails on super active cases? I’m newly assigned to a matter that actually requires task billing instead of block billing AND that has tons of email traffic that I have to read—but not necessarily act on—to stay on top of the case.

Looking for actionable tips to improve efficiency. I’m a senior associate doing primarily employment litigation. I am incredibly pissed. For the past 1.5 years my regular doctor’s office has been prescribing my ADHD meds. The nurse practitioner I usually see has been out on maternity leave and all of a sudden the main dr has decided that I don’t need an additional adderall dose in the late afternoon when the xr wears off and that my dosage is too high. I pushed back saying that I work a lot of hours and she agreed to refill this month only. But has now said that they will no longer (cont.)
