I worked at eBay/PP for a few years. I really enjoyed my time there, for what it’s worth.

I have a friend who just jumped ship from Ebay Corporate Strat. Just exited to the big G after 1.3 years at Ebay. At Ebay she went from Associate to M in less than a year. Said she learned a lot and was trusted with a lot of responsibility but wanted to get out since prospects were not looking too good.

For context, role is high profile (SVP of group is the Chief Strat Officer). I have ~1.5 YOE post undergrad. But I’m concerned that I only get to exit consulting once and in my mind making a move to Cali would want a sexier firm within big Tech for such a big transition. Exit opptys make more of a difference for me vs. purely pay as I am just starting out in my career

I’m currently in SAP consulting at ACC and it’s SO TECHNICAL. At my previous company, it was soo much more functional and I enjoyed it more. Is this how it’s like at the other big firms ?? Like all technical and not being in any convos for business process design etc?
