Has anyone recently gone through a renewal for an L1 visa in the USA through their work? Do you have to go to your home country for the interview? Looking for intel on current situation given covid travel restrictions. I’m from the UK. I’ve heard renewals are getting rejected if they’re processed in the USA versus the home country.

Toronto banks: remote or not? They sometimes post jobs where it doesn’t say it’s remote, but no branch/ location/address either. Then you get an interview and they tell you it’s remote/hybrid(1-2-3days, take your pick)/on-site. So, if you work at TD, Scotia, RBC, could you let everybody know in the comments what’s the deal for each? Are you remote, on-site, hybrid of some sort?

Anyone experienced this? The Amazon recruiter let me know last week that I passed the bar and received an Inclined decision. However, the position I was interviewing for (HR partner AWS) is no longer available due to headcount. She's trying to find other suitable roles. 7th year of H1b and have I140 PD in June 2020 (Chinese)... getting tired of my current job and want to do a MBA then switch career. Is it still possible? Would I be able to extend my H1b after I graduate say two years later for a new employer, even if the job has completely changed - say from business consultant to a tech manager? Do I need a new H1B Stamping? I extended my visa last year (new expiration date: 2024 Summer) and got my visa stamped accordingly. Since then, I changed firms and transferred my visa, which now has a different expiration date (i.e 2024 Winter). I honestly don’t know why the date got longer with just a transfer. Anyway, would I need to get my visa stamped again since the date of current i797-A (winter 2024) is different from my previous i797-A/latest visa stamp?

Hi all, since Canada slots for TCNs are in late 2023 and Mexico is not taking TCNs, I booked an appointment for October in Dubai. Wanted to know if anyone here has experience in Dubai or Abu Dhabi with stamping. First H1B stamping. Eligible for Dropbox in India since I had L1 previously. However no slots till April 2023.
