Has anyone recently gotten their CPA license in Guam without having 150 credit hours? I have work experience but not the education, wondering if it’s too good to be true? Googling has varying answers

How does having a CPA in Guam help you? You have to have it in the state where you are practicing

This made me laugh because you said Guam. Random

Lol I know right? But heard it’s a possible loophole so I have to investigate...

State of Michigan (I know for sure because I did it) is the same. I applied to sit and sat for one exam without my 150 and would've been able to keep going but got promoted/moved and decided to just completely 150 first. I didn't want to have my whole CPA completed and then have to go back for my remaining credits.

Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?

Currently working at an IRA with great WLB. Honestly I love my job, the firm, and people I work with.

Also doing MBA part time at a T15 school. Thinking about switching to IB but I’ve done my research and I think I would burn out of IB in two years but I might be ok with that for the opportunities after.

Currently working with a large federal contractor (think along the lines of Leidos, Del, Booz). What are some growing pains I should expect working for a small to medium sized boutique firm focusing on cyber and cloud? For me it is a great opportunity to build some presales skills I don't have on my resume. But I'm worried about exit opps because of a lack of brand recognition. Also will be compensated well but the role is supported by overhead.

Say the focus is AWS and the individual has a Bachelor's in Computer Science. Which do you recommend that they go into now?
