Has anyone recently left consulting for a PM (non-tech) role at Amazon? Did your WLB improve at all, considering you would have taken a pay cut?

Make $120k Accenture now doing tech implementations, just got offer 200k TC EY business consulting. I love my job, have a great WLB (working 20 hours per week, no travel, clear path to M in about 1.5 years) - am I an idiot for even contemplating staying? What I would be doing is more PPT/functional vs Onestream/technical which I do now.

Yep, hours were cut in half and salary doubled, not to mention RSU and signing bonus. Not sure where the pay cut is coming from

Slalom: Even Bezos makes 165k base. Pay in big tech also includes RSUs and annual bonuses (fixed and variable).
I am confident of a salary increase but you are right, I did hear both scenarios when it comes to WLB… so it is your luck then
Thanks folks. Looking at a pay cut because I’ll be making $250-$270k this year and I’ve heard it’s hard to get that much in annual compensation for non-tech PM roles at Amazon. Any insights?
@S&CM1 - Yes, I’m an M at EY. Levels.fyi and inputs from friends working at Amazon tell me that even $250k for nontech PM could be stretch.
Let me know if you know otherwise. Thanks!
OP.. by PM did you mean Product Manager or Program Manager. Product pays more
OP, I heard that its the same as consulting. But the PIP culture (can google) at Amazon is something most people are concerned about
OP - I’m currently exploring PM roles at Amazon as well. I’ve consistently heard from many that WLB depends on the team. So researching the team that you are targeting will be crucial.
I would like a referral for Amazon? Anyone can help? Happy to dm you
What is WLB?

@OP. What’s your total yoe? $250-270k as a M at EY? That’s massive for a M at EY unless you were an external hire and close to SM role.
