I just started as Sr Mgr of Creative Svcs for a small in-house operation. I have wide latitude to reconstruct the processes. I'm excited but a bit deer in the headlights. Anyone have good resources for this type of dept mgmt and process creation/improvement project?

It seems there's 1000 books on how to make the work, but almost nothing on how to make the system that makes the work... esp for in-house (a fair amount of 'start your own agency' resources out there).

Hi fellow fish, what are some tips you guys can offer me to get deployed to projects? I recently transferred from audit to AAS and my deployment manager always asks me if I have experience in ABC which obviously I most likely don’t have because I come from audit. Like I know ASC 842, 606 I have done IPO audit before but I won’t say I’m the expert because I’ve only been on the other side. It’s very annoying that they won’t deploy me unless I have expertise on that area. I’m losing hope….
