Has anyone researched the company on LinkedIn & reached out to HR re: their desired job posting? If so, what was the outcome? Is this a recommended way to make contact/take initiative?

What is the most amount of times you have Applied to one specific company? It could be different job titles and different states but how many times have you applied to the same company? Sodexo , levy, compass group, Hyatt Hilton Marriott have Applied to all those 30 or 40 times over the past three years. Talk about insanity. I stopped applying six months ago I’m no longer wasting my time with people like this!

I believe I’m being low-balled, but I’d like to get some constructive criticism here.

I received an offer from EY for a M2 starting at $170K with a sign-on bonus. I have 7-YOE in Digital Forensics and 2-YOE in Cyber Threat Intelligence generation, cryptocurrency tracing, Network Intrusion Forensics, Web Application PenTesting, Purple Team operations, and malware analysis. Additionally, I am retired military with a slew of managerial/leadership experience.

With all sorts of cases, I have trouble coming up with all the correct parameters and factoring in everything I should be accounting for in the calculations.

Hi Fish, today I was presented an opportunity to work as the primary point of contact for a public company doing commercial transactional work (mostly spillover and work that their in-house team may not want). I feel that former employer might have slandered my reputation. Almost a year ago, I had accepted a physical therapist position with the VA and all was going well until I get a call from their HR department saying that they had to rescind the offer due to something that came up in my background. My spouse and I recently adopted an older shelter dog (Carlotta). Some of the other MDs at my hospital were putting together a "Dr. and Dog" social event, so I took Carlotta. The amount of jabs I got for bringing a shelter "mutt" (with typical elderly dog health ailments) instead of purchasing an expensive designer dog like everyone else was astounding. I'm sorry I didn't pay thousands for a purebred or socially-acceptable mutt. Is this level of snobbery typical in dog circles??
