I forgot to take my medicine today. I realized it once I got into the office. I noticed my brain is extra sluggish and cloudy. So I checked my emergency at-work pills and I forgot to bring more. It would take over an hour to go home for meds and come back to work. I hate getting in these situations trying to figure out if I just stick it out at work, drive home and back to work, or call it a lost day and go home and back to sleep. It’s so frustrating that one change in routine can ruin the day.

Recommendations for medicine for sleep

If I am vaccinated and go to a bar or house party where other people are all maskless, I don’t think I should be shamed by PC friends the day after who say you are putting others at risk even though I don’t really put anyone at risk outside of the idiots taking a much larger risk unvaccinated at these superspreaders (live alone, home gym, order all meals and/or grocery, masked up all other places)

I did not get a full time offer from my internship this past summer at a top consulting firm they told me on the second to last day. I have been trying to recruit at other consulting firms however haven’t received any offers yet. I've always had trouble with things like attention, focusing, and feeling constantly overwhelmed. I started to feel hopeless, feeling burnt out (even worse than my old job). I spend hours diverted when I know I should get work done. I decided to get an evaluation after learning a lot more about ADHD. I was diagnosed as Primarily Inattentive and they are starting me on meds immediately. Will things get better from here? Will, I finally become a productive human being? Should I tell my manager?

Meds and GMAT exam performance: I feel smarter, more time-conscious and aware off meds during an exam. 3 questions: 1. Should I take meds daily to revise effectively before GMAT? 2. Should I take them during the exam itself? 3. If I shouldn’t take it during exam, when or how should I wean off of it? 2 days before etc?

My psychiatrist recommended for me to try Ritalin. I’ve been on Dexedrine for a few months, and I’m not really having negative side effects.

I’m prescribed Ritalin XR 40mg and when I take it ~10AM I feel great (talkative + focused). Then around 4PM my head feels tight, eyes feel dry, I get monotone and sound depressed…

How do you all manage exercise and meds? I take vyvanse and have a peloton, but am kinda scared of the heart rate increase combination. I find the vyvanse takes about 2h to kick in and so I try to take it by 6am otherwise I’m dealing with the “hitting me” feeling when at work (which has resulted in some really embarrassing situations). In the evenings, I’m so hungry that a workout is harder to do plus you never know when the work day will end!
