Has anyone successfully dealt with the need to constantly “start over” if there is even the slightest glitch in your plan/performance. This happens to me in all aspects of life - fitness (ex: I eat one thing out of my planned diet and think all is lost and eat my whole pantry); work (ex: a meeting doesn’t go well and I can’t focus the rest of the day); mental health (ex: I feel a little vulnerable and text every ex). So many of my problems are self-made, and I need a way out 😞

Guidehouse 🐠 on the healthcare team: What is the salary range for a Senior Associate? Ive looked online and it seems it can range anywhere from base $ 97,000 - 107? Any insights? Thanks

Hello,
I graduated in June with a dual BSBA in healthcare management and human resources management/organizational management and two associates degrees in business and arts. I have twelve years of experience as a certified clinical medical assistant.

I'm having trouble finding my first job as a healthcare manager. After submitting many applications and receiving so many rejection emails, I've become frustrated. Any advice anyone can give is greatly appreciated.

Has anyone tried getting out of their lease and been successful? I’ve been isolating out of the city for 3mo and will be here at least another 3mo, if not more. I live in one of those large/newer buildings managed by Greystar Properties as opposed to a townhouse. Any successful angles/negotiation tactics/DC laws that worked in your favor (relative to the public health crisis/pandemic) would be greatly appreciated. For context, lease technically ends Dec 9, but am looking to get out before then

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for a role in Media Planning, preferably WFH but also open to moving for the right opportunity!! I have degrees in psychology and sociology, and experience working in marketing and project mgmt.
Have spent the last few years working in insurance and not enjoying it, so hoping to pivot into a job that utilizes my skills and experience.
If you know your company is hiring, I’d appreciate the chance to have a chat and learn more about the company and your experience there!

Hot take, for those who received a stimulus based on FY19 or FY18 returns why doesn’t the government make people pay it back in the FY20 return if they don’t qualify based on the actual tax year stimulus was for? I understand why they couldn’t wait but IrS knows who received it so it isn’t hard to implement. Could have used the anticipated saving coming back to fund more stimulus for those who truly needed it.

Tax code has not caught up with WFH. We can make pre-tax contributions to pay for healthcare, commuting, childcare, etc. With millions now working from home out of necessity vs. convenience, why not a pre-tax home office/WFH account?
