Has anyone successfully made the switch from EY FDD to Parthenon? Consulting is my goal so I’m looking to see if this type of switch is possible without an MBA

Any recommendations on RE investment/development short professional certificates/courses? MIT’s “Profesional Certifícate Program in Real Estate Finance and Development” seemed like a great fit, but I can’t make it work time wise.

Im a Senior Manager at a Consulting Firm and I have an MBA. I’m looking to learn more about data science, investing and development in RE.

Hi fishes. Is it a fact that PWC payscale is relatively low compared to other Big4s?

I have been approached by PwC HRs twice in last 2 months, both times they did not even shortlist me stating that my expected CTC is high.

My profile:
YoE =6.5yrs + 2yrs tier2-MBA
CCTC=16.5
Expected CTC= 1.4x

2nd time they approached, I even brought down my exp CTC to 1.3x. Still they said PwC does not have budget.

I already have offer of 1.45x from another Big4. Its only PwC that is not budging. :(

Is an MBA required to get senior leadership roles in Canada? I always find myself wondering if, down the line, I will regret not doing an MBA. However, my peers (with and without MBAs) don’t seem to think MBAs are needed in Canada if you have the right experiences. Would love to hear more opinions on this

If you’re an AUSA in a busy criminal district full of big law refugees (SDNY, NDIL, CDCA, etc.), how many hours a week do you work if you’re trying to get promoted? Is it big law hours? Is there at least some relief from big law type issues like fire drills? I can’t imagine there being the same type of white collar fire drills if you’re the one creating them for big lawyers. Any truth in that assumption?

Sincere question- as a Pakistani born and settled in the US, I have many indian friends. We generally have some healthy debates. One of the arguments I find hard to debate is that we have some (indians and Pakistanis) have the same forefathers; Arab countries refuse to consider us pure Muslims and our many of our forefathers were forcefully converted.
