I have received an email from HR that you have been selected at citi and asking to send few documents like id, salary slip,few other forms that need to filled and scanned. It does not have compensation offered in any of the attached document. Can you help when they will release compensation offered part? What will be the further process? Will they call me and discuss? Can't even imagine what it would take to be let go from USDC. I'm putting in like 3 hours of work per week and I'm still getting nothing but positive feedback from lead. Pay definitely blows but can't really beat this WLB.

Pregnant FTM here, 15 weeks: currently in a 1br small NYC apt, husband wants us to relocate to LA to his parents place and have a nice amount of space, beat winter weather, get help in first couple of months from his mom, and save on rent (put stuff in storage in NY for about a year).

Concerns:
1) having to find a new obgyn/hospital for delivery in LA (starting end of 2nd trimester)
2) not being in our ownspace to heal mentally/physically postbirth (weighing that against additional support too)

What would you do?

I was recently promoted to be a senior and I’m on this project with an acting senior and associates. The acting senior would tell everyone, including me, what to do everyday before I get the chance to. I feel like he is stepping into my boundaries. I feel uncomfortable being told by him what I have to do when I know it myself. I feel like he’s my senior instead lol.

Am I being oversensitive about this as a new senior? Or how would you address this?

I have been an RN for 2 yrs and 6 m now. I started my nursing in the sub acute unit of a hospital, it was ok i didnt mind it. Right away they made me one of 3 charge nurses and I felt the pressure but I was ok. Switched to outpt GI setting and loved it the only thing I didnt like was not being home with my kids since it was mon-Fri because we were short staffed I would do 10 hr days at times. decided to apply for bedside medsurg. constant anxiety attacks now hate being an RN. Im only 3m in.

Any nurses here not have hospital experience? I work as a community nurse and have previous experience in an assisted living and clinic. I don’t have much interest in going to the hospital. Been a nurse for about 9 years. Started out as LPN and now I have small children and enjoy my flexibility. Any regrets for those that never did the hospital ?

What are the worst kind of charting problems on your shift?

I am so behind with my preventive medicine at 45. I have a strong HX of certain cancers within my family and have had abnormal findings on tests in the past. My PCP is in the Boston hospital I work at and still won’t let me schedule them and it’s making me uneasy. Am I being unreasonable to ask that at least they be scheduled knowing they are likely going to be months ago? Only so much you can do on a tele-visit?
