I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.
Happy layoff hunger games

Winter break is a good time to transition off. Keep it up; you’ll be better off once you’ve adjusted
Are there any long term health issues with taking Adderall?
Any tolerance issues kpmg1
Exercise (strength training/cardio) plus eating very healthy (vegetables and protein, limited carbs, and little to no sugar) took me some time but made a huge difference for me
I took adderall for a couple years in middle and high school and stopped because I hated how it made me feel. To be honest my focus isn’t great now, but I make do. Writing down everything that is said during meetings helps me stay focused, but it’s harder now with zoom. Putting my phone in another room helps stop me from getting distract by it. Also breaking up work into short chunks

I'm on adderall now and still don't think I'm focused enough 😭

Same here.
I stopped taking Adderall after using it all through high school and college. It’s definitely difficult but I did it over the summer break before I started working which made it a bit easier. Having a healthy diet and regular exercise routine helped me stay on track and stay off of it for the past 3 years. Other than that you can look into supplementation with theanine and tyrosine but supplements will only help minimally compared to a healthy lifestyle.
I started taking it in 2016 and had to stop in September because I’m pregnant lol. It’s been fine except for tired sometimes (also probably due to pregnancy) but don’t think I had a deep case of ADHD
✋🏼 went off cold turkey. Later transitioned to another med, vyanse or something. Stopped taking it cold turkey after several months as well. Struggled a lot, probably still do but I couldn't deal with those highs and lows, loss of appetite, mood swings. I exercise now (running and cycling), cut out wheat (read about link to brain fog), and power through.
Vyvanse is a hell of a drug
So many people here taking Adderall, how do I get my hands on it? I can never stay focused on any thing and takes about 5 minutes before I'm watching a YouTube video
Well, I have diagnosed ADHD and went through a bunch of neuro evaluations to get Vyvanse and CBT, but if you don’t have an actual disorder, C3’s approach could also work...would caution against seeing a poorly rated psychiatrist if you have actual issues...
Would appreciate any insights. I’ve tried several times and go through terrible withdrawals every time (both physically and mentally). I’ve reached the point where I feel I can’t function at work without it.
