[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

Hi Amazonians. Can you share the work culture in Retail tech team or in Amazon in general. I've received an SDE1 offer. I have other offers from Microsoft and Goldman Sachs as well. I am really confused between Amazon and Microsoft. All the people I've talked to have said to take the Microsoft offer. Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

Wanted to share smth I found recently. I felt like it was pretty darn accurate. I’ll provide the link here but there’s a screenshot I took that I feel I can relate to quite heavily. https://pairedlife.com/love/infatuations
I’ve struggled with so many heavy infatuations before and a friend recommended this. Hope it helps anyone else out there who’s gone through this or may be going through this right now.

I took paid medical leave for this. Had to prove that it was an ongoing medical issue though, so you’ll need a history of seeing a therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist
Conversely, if things are bad enough that you go to a hospital, then you’re pretty much guaranteed medical leave coverage
Yes to both. Let me know if you’d like help on FMLA process. It’s worth it
Sounds good! Look forward to hearing from you 🤗
I think there’s paid leave for that at many firms up to x number of weeks, or falls under FMLA. I wish I had more specifics, I’m trying to figure out the same thing too, except I don’t have any dependents.
At my small/mid-sized firm it looks like it’s unpaid though, so I’m confused since competing firms seem to have it.
