It wasn’t useful to me personally, as the results were generally in line with any other behavioral assessment (DISC, Colors, etc). However, it was useful when my entire team took it and we all discussed our results - helped identify how our team should divide and conquer/interact
It’s useful for the team dynamic but essentially it just reveals how you perceive yourself and not necessarily your actual strengths
That’s what I’m worried of. I already took the test upon a career coach recommendation. Oh well
I took it in a previous job as part of some leadership development. Interesting to see the results and you can use them to drive your development if your role allows it.
The idea of strength finders is that nobody has to be or can be a rockstar at everything, but if you focus on what you’re good at, it should lead you to a more suited and fulfilling role. You can either build it into your current role, or you may feel you want to change directions.
Do I think there are better assessments out there though? Yes.

The MPA is best for career visioning and mapping out growth path.
It is like a video game as it is timed. Focus is on how you make rebounder stress. I have used it over the last 5 years and it's uncanny everyone says wow 😮 that does describe how I make decisions 9/10 it nailed me to T.
