I think it is excellent training if you want to start in the world of logistics. But if you already have experience in this area you will not learn much, but it is always good to have the certification.

The Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution, in our company all those who are moderately related to the logistics sector must have this certification is a policy in our company and allows us to know much better the processes.

In spite of being a certification nobody demands it in any field, I believe that it is not very necessary, most of the people who are in charge of the logistic processes have the necessary knowledge.

Hello! I joined a company in the UK 6 months ago, and received a £20,000 gross sign on bonus - clause associated to this however was that I stay for a minimum of 12 months. Unfortunately, the role is really proving to be the wrong fit, and I am looking to leave.

Question for you all - if I resign, I assume I would be expected to pay back the sign on bonus despite me only receiving approx 12k after tax. Anyone know the process for a tax clawback for something like this? Thanks in advance!

Hi All,

Has anyone ever had to do the second step of an interview over slack? It was a legitimate company not a scam. The person I would be working with said the second interview after an assignment was over slack. They asked me in the first interview about my writing skills. They said since it's a remote company most people I'd never speak with directly and everything would be asynchronous through slack. Is this typical?

Anyone have tips for proper slack etiquette or resources to share?

It surprises me how many people get busted for trying to mail illegal substances. It's never worth it, they ALWAYS get caught, but people don't seem to learn

When out in the road, is it the employer's responsibility to cover food and shelter money for their employees or not? What do you guys think?

Supply Chain shortages were supposed to be "temporary" because of COVID. Then they were "temporary" because of the war. Now they're "temporary" because of the infllation. Do you really think we will go back to normal or this is definitely the "new normal"?

It’s very discouraging to continuously receive these rejection emails. With 9 years of supply chain experience, I am not sure why I would not be able to at least get an interview for entry level roles that require no experience. Not just this one pictured but others as well. I’ve applied to maybe 60 positions since May, both mid level and “entry” and no interviews. I’ve had my resume professionally re-written twice. Not sure where the disconnect is. Anyone else going through this same thing?

Hi PwC SC&O advisory folks! Looking for manufacturing benchmark data for main production indicators (OEE, Yield, changeover time and etc.). FMCG (food, non-food), heavy industry (steel and other metal processing), pharma and others. Suport important to collect the data till Monday, help appreciate.

Why isn’t logistics a more competitive field? I feel like it isn’t well-liked by people, and most don’t even consider working here.

I'm glad people can order things online and get them the next day; but it makes my job harder because a lot of the people in my company don't see that we just don't have the infrastructure for that kind of operation, so they need to order it BEFORE they need it the next day
