Hi. I have a question. In a world where COVID is under control, how would you feel if your companies went back to being fully in the office? But maybe others were adopting a hybrid model- some days remote, some days in the office. Would it make you want to work elsewhere? How important is being able to work remote (at a location of your choice, not at client /travelling) a few days a week to your job satisfaction?

Hello! I'm trying to get a grasp of a good base salary and TC for the Chicago area. I'm a UX contractor being converted to full time and I received an offer for 100k base + 10% bonus. For context this is like a 30% increase from my salary as a contractor and the company isn't a tech company. I have about 2 years of general industry experience (web dev, web design, agency work) and 1 year of actual product design and finishing up a master's in HCI as well.. Is this reasonable?

I’m interviewing for a role that is open to both remote and in-person (when it’s safe) work. Cost of living in the office location is a lot higher than where I’d live but since they are also considering in-person candidates, I know the budget is there.
