Any interview tips for Project Manager roles in software development? I was moved to this role about 2 years ago and soon looking to jump to another company, but unsure of what to focus on talking about. I’ve tested the waters and the feedback from one interviewer who was generous enough to provide it was that I made myself sound like a technologist rather than a PM because I was too focused on the product and it’s details instead of the project management details.

Why are people so insecure? I see this as the root cause of all issues at work and in relationships. They project their insecurities on others and escalate those into huge misunderstandings/vendettas.

At a point where I don’t even apologize to the client anymore for their mistakes *supply correct copy*.

What should I do if I'm being set up for failure? When I seek answers for what career progression looks like in a pandemic world ...the answer is you need to do xyz that is more than what my 50 hrs workweek can handle. I was told that plus 1 don't matter because that's what you are passionate about and I need to be working in bd or proposals in addition to my full time client engagement. How am I suppose to be a wife, care for my parents if my days end at 8pm everyday, sleep 6 hrs. I'm exhausted

Vent: sometimes the need for perfection in big law is absurd. Closed and amended a set of fund documents for LP consent on back to back days Bc a single close fund turned into multi close and unlimited capital commitments. I told the client they would get LP consent to amend and then could have investors subscribe for additional capital commitments. How does a person determine the root of their burnout? I suffer year long with allergies, at least that’s what I call it.
I can’t breath well from my nose, mostly blocked. Medicines like Flonase, allergies meds, nasal rinse and steam give me some relief but not that much.
Every few months the fluids in my sinuses are not drained and I develop an infection.
Body ache, bad headache in the morning etc.
Been to many doctors but they shrug their shoulders and ask me to keep the same meds

I know we can not spot reduce weight but my body is what a pregnant lady would look like lol. All parts of my body look great but my stomach is BIG. It’s big to the extent that I’ve been asked by people if I’m preggers… I’m not sure how I ended up gaining so much weight and have been trying really hard to lose it. I’m working out and trying to be in the calorie deficit range. I did reduce my fat% by a little bit but I see no difference in my stomach. Am I losing weight from the wrong places?

Anyone have a sleep tracker you're happy with? I would like to get a sense for how much I actually sleep while laying in bed at night (without the electrodes). I picked up a Polar Vantage M2 for this but the sleep and wake times are very inaccurate so far which make me skeptical of the other tracking features.
