Has anyone transitioned from ad agency to sales (or vice versa)? I love the pitching and client relationship aspect of my job and am increasingly disliking the other agency aspects. I also want to be in a remote role. Just wondering if I’m being naive since I haven’t worked in true sales but I’m beginning my research so open to any advice!

Can anyone explain why agencies seem to favor hiring a ton of freelance people over full time creatives? I can’t imagine it’s cheaper than paying someone a salary.

I am having 2.5 years experience in the IT sector on vision plus as a software engineer (before joining the bank). I have a question, I got a contract role through a recruiter. Initially the recruiter offered the hourly pay rate which was the minimum in my range. Now I got an offer from the company. Now without me asking her she increased the hourly wage to the maximum range I asked. Which makes me doubt if the company increased it or she knew the rate all along but gave me the lower rate ?
