Rpo is super easy, there is a team behind you of RC and sourcer. I’m a TA for RPO and I’m pretty much admin getting paid 6 figures. Looking for another RPO company know of any that’s hiring. This contract I’m on is almost up.
I hope this helps.
Pros-steady income, usually you are embedded in one account instead of several. Better benefits, more of a decision maker than an order taker. Also better technology than staffing bc that’s what they need to sell to their clients, since they can’t fly a client in to show how many people they have in the office like an agency can. I would ask in the RPO interview how long the contract is with the client. (Anywhere from 1-3 years) that’s the only con. If you join a client towards the end of the contract, you either need to hope they re-sign the contract or you need to hustle to get on a new project. But in terms of work/life balance, RPO was much better.
I'm new to this world..what's the difference between agency and an RPO?
So you join on a contract basis? Not perm and move from client to client ?
Thanks for all the input. I like the recruitment strategy and partnership on the RPO side vs transactional .
